RAVALLI COUNTY: STAGE II FIRE RESTRICTIONS LIFTED - EFFECTIVE 8/9/2024 at 12:01 AM

RESOLUTION NO. 4634

RESCINDS RESOLUTION NO. 4632 (Stage II Restrictions)

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Ravalli County, Montana, passed Resolution 4611 on February 20, 2024 which established a local fire season in the County, and Resolution 4631 on July 8, 2024, which restricted open burning in the County, and Resolution 4632 on July 18, 2024, which implemented Stage II fire restrictions in the County; and

WHEREAS, recent cooler temperatures, precipitation, and anticipated weather patterns have reduced the level of fire danger in the area; and

WHEREAS, the Ravalli County Firewarden recommends lifting Stage II fire restrictions within Ravalli County;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the RAVALLI COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS does hereby rescind Resolution No. 4632, effective Friday, August 9, 2024 at 12:01 AM.
